Our Story
Northern Michigan's Trusted Painting Craftsman
Who We Are
Built on Reputation, Not Advertising
Louis Rush started Pine River Painting with a simple belief: do the work right, treat people fairly, and the business will take care of itself. More than three decades later, that philosophy still drives every project.
Based in Tustin, Michigan, Louis has painted and remodeled homes throughout Northern Michigan — from small bedroom refreshes to full interior overhauls. Most of his work comes from repeat customers and word-of-mouth referrals, which is exactly how he likes it.
When you hire Pine River Painting, you're hiring Louis and his team of professionals.
How We Work
What Sets Us Apart
Honest Estimates
Every estimate is free, detailed, and straightforward. No hidden fees, no upsells. You'll know exactly what you're getting before work begins.
Personal Accountability
Louis does the work himself. That means consistent quality, direct communication, and someone who takes real pride in the finished result.
Respect for Your Home
We protect your furniture, clean up thoroughly, and treat your home the way we'd want ours treated. You'll barely know we were there — except for the fresh paint.
Northern Michigan Roots
Louis has lived and worked in this region his entire career. He understands the climate, the homes, and the people — and he's proud to serve this community.
Experience
30+ Years of Experience
Louis has seen every kind of painting challenge Northern Michigan homes can throw at him — from century-old farmhouses with layers of old paint to new construction needing a perfect first coat. That depth of experience means fewer surprises and better results for you.
